To qualify for a rebate, your attic must have no more than an R-14 (approximately 4 inches of insulation) to start and have a minimum of an R-38 (13 inches) when finished. CPS Energy will pay $0.35 cents per square foot for insulation added over a conditioned living space when performed by a registered contractor. Attics with very little room may require less insulation. We are a CPS Energy registered trade ally and have been working in this program since 2010.
CPS energy now pays insulation rebates in the form of energy bill credits. Bill credits are typically made within 2-3 weeks. Rebates for property managers or landlords can be paid in the form of actual checks with the proper documentation. these third party checks are typically mailed out in 8-12 weeks. Don’t worry, We handle the entire application process for you, including the before and after pictures required. All we need is the name as it appears on the bill, the account number, and a signature. We will take it from there. it’s just that easy.
